SCALE UP is created for existing businesses operating for 3 years or more seeking tangible systems & processes that will alleviate the business pain points of profitable financial operations management, applying for private, city or governmental contracts, securing financing, reducing corporate tax liability, and implementing a strategy to attract ideal clients and customer segments.
The first SCALE UP cohorts begin September 12, 2019, and continues weekly on Thursdays until November 7th, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the historic 4th Avenue Business District of Birmingham, Alabama (the CREED Building, 413 16th Street N). Participants can participate in in-person or via an online platform. SCALE Up Instructors include Founder & CEO of TMB Tax & Financial Services, Talibah M. Bayles and a team of several local small business experts.
Under Talibah’s leadership, TMB Tax & Financial Services was among several small businesses awarded the coveted SB100 in 2018 Best of Small Business Awards last year (2018). This award was presented by Small Business Expo, the Nation’s biggest and most attended Business-to-Business Networking Event, Trade Show & Conference for Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners, hosted in 17 major US Cities.
A native of Birmingham, Talibah is on a mission to bring genuine solutions for ignored small businesses in her community. She has built a reputation as a dynamic speaker with a capacity to connect with her audience, encourage honest conversations about their numbers, and craft short and long-term strategies designed to promote business success. Talibah was recently tapped to serve on the City of Birmingham’s Inaugural Small Business Council where she also serves as the Chair of the Women, Minority, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Subcommittee.
